“Art is for everybody.”

That quote (my manifesto) is from one of my favorite artists, Keith Haring.

My goal is to make music—and beauty—more accessible. As an advocate for new music, I have worked with ensembles such as New Century Chamber Orchestra, Kronos Quartet, Post:ballet, and the IU and SFCM New Music Ensembles. I enjoy curating programs with unique voices, and working with composers to premiere their works. As member of the Lora Quartet, I was a finalist at the 2023 Saint Paul String Quartet Competition. My principal teachers are Atar Arad and Dimitri Murrath.

When not making music, I can be found in the kitchen, on the trail, or at a museum.

Contemporary voices & classic sound

As a classically trained violist, I perform traditional repertoire at the highest level.
Those skills carry over to my love for contemporary music, which requires not only classical technique but also adaptibility.

I have performed solo works as well as pieces with piano, electronics, string quartet, vocals, and many other unique instrumentations.
